Italian Heartland is based in Tuscania at the heart of the Tuscia area of northern Lazio. Just 90 minutes from Rome’s international airports (Ciampino and Leonardo da Vinci at Fiumicino) it is an ideal base from which to explore northern Lazio and western Umbria. Lake Bolsena is just a 15 minute drive north of the town and offers beautiful beaches and water-sports facilities to add another dimension to your property viewing trip.
The Panzera family, who run Italian Heartland, would be delighted to welcome you to stay at their Bed and Breakfast, Il Carretto, which is situated on a quiet square in the heart of the old medieval town of Tuscania. The house dates from the Middle Ages and offers guests spacious, character accommodation in double or family bedrooms (for up to 4 people) with en suite bathrooms. The rooms have been carefully and tastefully furnished to a high standard. A double room costs just €50.00 per night. If you choose to have breakfast, this is an additional €5.00 per person. There are many excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk of Il Carretto giving you a varied choice for your evening meal.
